PR and Content Specialist (B2B)

In this position you will report directly to the VP of Marketing, and you will be responsible for the development and management of the brand, media coverage and content delivery. You will work to raise awareness of the company, solutions and service we provide across the globe.

About the role

Are you a master of content and communications? Do you have the ability to create dedicated, persuasive and tailored content to capture and engage the attention of a variety of audiences?
We’re looking for a PR and Content Specialist that can lead and make waves, contributing to building the Verbio brand, reputation and growth as part of a dedicated Marketing Team. If you’re inspired by technology and innovation and have global experience – we have just the position for you.
Excellent communication and writing skills are essential and experience of the speech technology industry would be an advantage. You must be confident and capable of working as part of team, working autonomously, and working to deadlines.

Task & Responsibilities

▪ Create a cross-platform content strategy that supports our brand positioning and business objectives, working closely with other Marketing specialists
▪ Developing and understanding buyer personas – creating a tone of voice and crafting content to generate leads and engagement
▪ Writing, editing and proofreading professional content
▪ Developing and managing agencies to consist of writers, graphic designers, videographers and press agencies
▪ Developing, releasing and analysing an editorial calendar that delivers fresh, useful and compelling content across the regions we serve. To include blogs, white papers, e-books, videos, and e-marketing campaigns
▪ Providing editorial and creative support to team members – working closely with the Digital Marketing Specialist
▪ Collaborating with the Marketing Team to communicate plans, objectives, campaigns, while delegating tasks and developing briefs
▪ Securing positive news coverage across regional, national, international and trade media
▪ Stay up to date with new and interesting content formats and pilot them, communicating suggested content and updates to appropriate departments
▪ Developing and implementing multi-channel marketing plans, managing the entire process from conception to completion
▪ Use data and insight to create customer-centric marketing and campaigns and report on their success
▪ Develop compelling audience messaging and content for each product and audience
▪ Working closely with the Product Marketing Specialist & Sales to produce sales literature and collateral for both new products and new releases

What you will do in your first 3 months

▪ Build a content calendar to help build the Verbio brand across the territories that we serve
▪ Get involved in the set up our marketing automation hub with workflows – generating and nurturing leads
▪ Take a leading role in the refresh of our external website, ensuring that our value proposition is clear and that our buyer personas and user journeys are optimised
▪ Position and present our company online as a market leader in call automation for contact centers

Skills and Experience

We most definitely want you if you are a born communicator and words person. You are experienced in securing media coverage across territories in the B2B tech world and have the ability to work autonomously crafting content in all its forms.

▪ 3+ years’ experience of PR and Content Management for a global, B2B tech company
▪ Impeccable attention to detail with strong written and communication skills
▪ Experience in developing personas and delivering content at the highest possible standard with
evidenced ROI and engagement
▪ Experienced in developing PR campaigns and securing media coverage on a global scale (working with
supporting agencies)
▪ Experienced in developing and managing a calendar of cross-territory content of various styles and
types (including White Papers, e-books, blogs, videos)
▪ Experienced in lead generation derived through content
▪ Experienced in marketing automation (including HubSpot/Pardot, MailChimp)
▪ Experience in creating detailed documentation (technical would be a bonus) and literature
▪ Strong teamwork ethic but also possesses the ability to work autonomously on projects
▪ A proactive, can-do attitude and the desire to make a difference.

Nice to have
▪ Fluency in Spanish and Portuguese would be extremely advantageous
▪ Experienced in Salesforce CRM
▪ A strong technical understanding
▪ Experienced in Adobe packages including Photoshop and Illustrator
▪ Previous experience gained in speech technology.
