We are a growing team of driven professionals with people in Spain, US, Mexico, Brazil and the UK.
We have Ph.D.’s & Engineers in NLP, Artificial intelligence and software development; Computational Linguists, Salespeople spread in the globe, and our cross teams of MKT, Finance and People.

About the role

We are looking for a Tech Sourcer to join our People team. You will be helping the Recruitment team to deal with the company’s growth, managing the active and passive sourcing for our international technical and non-technical profiles. You will have the opportunity to be part of the People team, a growing cross-functional team essential for Verbio to achieve its goals and to continue building on our mission of make people’s lives easier by using AI-enabled technology.

• Identifying high quality candidates to fill key roles across the globe
• Partnering with internal recruiters to understand the role requirements, candidate profile and define the candidate identification strategy for each position.
• Sourcing active and passive candidates through direct channels, social media, internet sourcing.
• Clearly articulating and sell the Verbio value proposition via candidate interaction, networking events, professional networks etc.
• Building talent pipelines to fill current and future roles
• Providing an initial screen and high-level assessment of a candidate’s knowledge, skills and abilities and overall fit with the role.
• Actively tracking, managing and reporting on candidate pipelines through the applicant tracking system
• Work closely with the rest of the recruiting team within your activities
• Build trust with candidates and provide them with complete, accurate, and inspiring information about the company and each position.
• Brainstorm and provide new strategies for connecting with potential prospects.
• Determine selection criteria, design and publish job descriptions on job portals and social networks.
• Provide candidates with timely communication and continuous feedback throughout the process.
• Identify best approaches to attract top-talent candidates

Skills and experience

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Industrial Relations, Psychology, or similar. Specialization in Human Resources or a specific HR field related to the aforementioned tasks.
• 2+ years Recruiting, or Sourcing Tech profiles experience required with proven success in utilizing a range of direct sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, …)
• Strong communication skills both in English and Spanish
• Familiarity with current and emerging direct sourcing techniques
• Ability to articulate and understand the specific role requirements
• Polished interview skills and telephone manner with behavioral based interviewing experience
• The ability to manage multiple searches through strong project management and prioritization skills
• The ability to problem solve and think creatively around strategies for identifying quality talent.
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• Results-oriented, with drive and initiative to lead tasks and projects, as well as to do continuous improvement and make proposals.
• Candidates from Barcelona are preferred, but you can develop this role remotely from anywhere in Spain

Nice to have

• Experience of talent sourcing across regions within an international organization is highly preferred
• In-house recruitment experience
• Familiar with recruiting C++ Engineers and developers
